Introduction
If you're like most of our new clients,
you either have a website that isn't working for you OR you don't
have a website and think you need one. In either case,
the first thing to do is define your objectives. If you don't know
where you want to go or what you want to do, you have little hope
of having a successful website.
Start by asking these questions. Keep your
answers in a file somewhere and review them every year.
- What are my business objectives?
- How can a website help me fulfill
these business goals?
- What are the expectations of my website
visitors? And how can I meet those customer needs?
- What products and/or services do
I want to offer on my website?
- Who are my online competitors and
how are they using their websites?
You will need to answer these questions BEFORE
you meet with a website designer. These answers are YOUR
responsibility and they form the basis for website planning
and development.
The following articles will provide you with
basic information to enable you to make educated decisions regarding
website development for your business.
