Meridian
Design
is a freelance web and print design business started in 1997 by
myself, Heather Gordon. I currently work with
small businesses, nonprofits, and individuals located in Asheville, Durham,
across the US, and in Canada.
I
have owned and operated two small businesses, been a teacher
and public speaker, and live a second life as a visual artist
producing paintings and drawings as time allows.
My
training is as
a visual artist and I hold a Master's degree in Fine Arts and
have exhibited my work regularly throughout the US. My sensibilities
as a designer are informed by my training as an artist and I
hope you'll find that each design I make is tailored to each
client's needs and graphic tastes.
I
love to learn, so I continue to take courses in Computer Science
and Mathematics. Staying current to new technologies is my second
job.
I'm
affordable, dependable, experienced, honest, and in general...I
work well with others.
